Job summary

Spring Arbor of Leesburg is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide/Med Tech to support residents in our Assisted Living community. You will assist with medications, daily living activities, and safety, under supervision, delivering high-quality resident care.

We value a caring approach, prior senior-care experience, and valid RMA and possibly CNA/NA credentials. Walk-in interviews Wednesdays and on-the-spot evaluations are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of one year of experience with senior adults.
• May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) depending on state requirements.
• Must possess a current Medication Training certification (RMA).
• Must pass a criminal background screening.
• This is a drug-free workplace; comply with policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required by state regulations.
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach all interactions with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under state guidelines.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility).
• Communicate daily with Resident Services to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in and help lead resident activities as needed.
• Maintain a strong focus on resident satisfaction and customer service.

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Leesburg is growing our team and looking for compassionate caregivers who are passionate about senior care, medication administration, and resident support. If you're an experienced Medication Aide or Med Tech, we'd love to meet you.

The Medication Aide provides resident care services, including assistance with self-administration of medication, to residents in our Assisted Living community. This role works under the supervision of the Resident Care Director (RCD) and helps maintain a positive, safe environment for residents.

Areas of Responsibility

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in and help lead resident activities as needed
• Maintain a strong focus on resident satisfaction and customer service

• Minimum of one year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
• May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA), depending on state requirements; if licensed or certified, must be in good standing with the state agency
• Must possess a current Medication Training certification(RMA)
• Must pass a criminal background screening
• This is a drug-free workplace; associates must comply with the company's Drug-Free Workplace policy
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or as required by state regulations
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems preferred
