Job summary

Spring Arbor of Leesburg is hiring compassionate Medication Aides and Med Techs to support residents with daily living, medication administration, and activities. This role works under the supervision of the Resident Care Director in an Assisted Living community.

The team emphasizes safety, dignity, and high-quality resident care. Walk-in Wednesdays interviews are welcome from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on‑the‑spot interviews.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with senior adults preferred.
• Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) may be required by state.
• Current Medication Training certification (RMA) required.
• Background check and drug-free workplace compliance.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with resident documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach all interactions with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under state guidelines.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in and help lead resident activities as needed.
• Maintain a strong focus on resident satisfaction and customer service.

The Medication Aide provides resident care services, including assistance with self-administration of medication, to residents in our Assisted Living community. This role works under the supervision of the Resident Care Director (RCD) and helps maintain a positive, safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA), depending on state requirements; if licensed or certified, must be in good standing with the state agency
• Must possess a current Medication Training certification(RMA)
• Must pass a criminal background screening
• This is a drug-free workplace; associates must comply with the company's Drug-Free Workplace policy
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or as required by state regulations
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems preferred
