Job summary

Spring Arbor of Anderson is seeking a compassionate Medication Assistant to join our dedicated team and support residents with medications and daily care.

You will work 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, help with activities of daily living, and ensure a clean, safe environment while communicating with the Resident Services team to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience with senior adults preferred.
• CNA/NA cert/licensure may be required.
• Current Medication Training certification required.
• Background check completed.
• CPR and First Aid certs preferred or required by state.
• Experience with electronic resident documentation systems preferred.
• Team player and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications per state guidelines.
• Support activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Maintain a clean, safe resident environment.
• Communicate with Resident Services for quality care.
• Assist with resident activities and foster relationships.
• Provide friendly, compassionate customer service.
• Complete resident documentation and other duties as assigned.

Full-Time Medication Assistant – Spring Arbor of Anderson

Location: Spring Arbor of Anderson
Shifts: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

As a Medication Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on support and assistance with medication and daily care while helping create a positive, welcoming environment for our residents.

• Assist residents with medications in accordance with state guidelines.

• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, positioning, and incontinence care.

• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents.

• Communicate closely with Resident Services associates to ensure consistent, quality care.

• Participate in and assist with resident activities.

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and fellow associates.

• Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service.

• Complete resident documentation and other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Previous experience working with senior adults is highly preferred.

• CNA/NA certification or licensure may be required depending on state regulations.

• Current Medication Training certification required.

• Must be in good standing with the applicable state licensing/certifying agency, if applicable.

• Must successfully complete a criminal background screening.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required by state regulations.

• Previous experience with electronic/computerized resident documentation systems is preferred.

• Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.

• Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
