Job summary

Sensata Technologies is seeking an Equipment Repair Technician to join the Dynapower RMA team. You will receive returned customer equipment, diagnose issues, repair and refurbish to be sent back to customers, and root-cause analyze to prevent recurrence.

Role emphasizes problem solving, safety, and working in a manufacturing environment. Eligible for benefits on day one, with a $2,000 signing bonus and hourly pay of $20–$30.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Understanding of diode, contactor, circuit board assembly; transformer, cabinet, and wiring assembly processes can be helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret various instruments (e.g., tape measure, calipers, voltmeter, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uncrate, unwrap, and prepare customer-shipped RMA for inspection, testing, and production work.
• Inspect damaged components visually and with electrical tests.
• Research original equipment builds and field service reports to aid root cause analysis.
• Diagnose issues with field service staff and determine repair options.
• Perform repairs, upgrades, and refurbishments while following safety procedures.
