Job description

The County of Riverside’s Child Support Services Department has an opportunity for a Law Office Supervisor I position assigned to the Indio location.

The Law Office Supervisor I oversees the day-to-day operations of the Legal Division support staff, including Legal Support Assistants, Office Assistants, and Child Support Investigators. This position directs the processing, filing, and return of high-volume court documents while ensuring work is completed accurately and in a timely.

The Law Office Supervisor I works closely with the Administrative Services Supervisor, Supervising Attorneys, and other Law Office Supervisors to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures. The position also participates in preparing monthly Legal Division reports and attends Legal Division, department supervisor, and court-related meetings, as well as trainings, retreats, and professional development activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities, constant deadlines, and last-minute changes while remaining calm and professional. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.

Preferred candidates will have strong proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, with familiarity with PowerPoint. Experience working for a local child support agency or in family law is highly desirable.
