Job summary

Vanguard’s Technology Leadership Program in the Risk & Security Analyst track offers a two-year rotational development experience, with eight-month rotations across cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, risk management, and identity & access management. Graduating students participate in real-world assignments and cross‑functional collaboration to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks across Vanguard’s systems and processes.
• Analyze threats, vulnerabilities, and risk scenarios to support risk-informed decision-making.
• Contribute to reporting, dashboards, or insights for risk management across teams.
• Partner with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen controls and processes.
