UNLV is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator in Administrative Services to safeguard university operations and assets by administering risk programs, facilitating claims, and supporting investigations.

The role reports to the Risk Manager and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of experience, plus credentials or equivalent experience as recognized by accreditation bodies. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a pathway to professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in General business and/or insurance and risk management, or paralegal studies, from an accredited college or university.
• Credentials can be substituted by four additional years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree plus two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard university operations and assets by administering risk programs and facilitating claims.
• Support legal investigations and advance safety strategies across campus.
• Coordinate claims lifecycle and serve as primary contact for guidance and subrogation efforts.
• Oversee fleet insurance, equipment schedules, and risk mitigation activities.
• Log events for risk review, generate loss runs, and identify safety improvements and training opportunities.
• Provide coverage during team absences and manage credentialing verifications for the medical school.
