Addison Group is seeking an onsite Fraud Prevention Associate in the Smyrna, TN area. You will review orders flagged by automated systems, investigate customer details, and decide to confirm or cancel orders via phone and email.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data verification, and trend analysis in a fast-paced, process-driven environment. Required are an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) and 0-1+ years in e-commerce, fraud, or related analytics.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 0-1+ years of experience in e-commerce, fraud, risk management, or related analytical role.
• ERP experience with NetSuite strongly preferred; similar ERP acceptable.
• CRM experience with ServiceNow or adjacent platform.

Responsibilities

• Review orders flagged by automated systems and investigate account details.
• Confirm or cancel orders via phone and email.
• Verify customer data to prevent refund delays and reduce fraud risk.
• Investigate Terms of Use violations and analyze chargeback cases.
• Identify fraud trends and share insights across departments.
• Adapt to training upfront and learn new processes quickly.

Job description

Onsite/Remote: 100% Onsite - Smyrna, TN Area

Pay Rate: $20-$23/hr

Skills Required - Top 3:

• ERP experience - NetSuite strongly preferred; similar ERP acceptable
• CRM experience - ServiceNow or adjacent platform (recently migrated from MotionOX)
• Strong attention to detail with an investigative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment

Preferred but not required:

• E-commerce fraud or risk management background
• Experience with Braintree or PayPal payment environments
• Bachelor's degree (Associate's acceptable)

Typical Day to Day: This individual will support fraud prevention efforts by reviewing orders flagged by automated systems, investigating account details, and confirming or canceling orders via phone and email. Additional responsibilities include verifying customer data to prevent refund delays, investigating potential Terms of Use violations, analyzing and resolving chargeback cases, and identifying fraud trends to share across departments. The team operates differently than traditional e-commerce environments - there will be significant training upfront, so candidates who are adaptable and open to learning new processes will thrive here.
