Job summary

Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Risk Mitigation Analyst in the Knowledge Management Department to conduct hands-on public records and investigative research supporting client engagements and firm risk management. You will verify findings across sources, identify patterns, and prepare clear reports for attorneys and leadership.

The role involves collaboration with attorneys and firm staff, utilization of AI-enabled tools under supervision, and maintaining research quality within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct public-records research on individuals, companies, and related entities using public, commercial, and proprietary databases; searches include litigation, bankruptcy, lien, judgment, UCC filings, real property, corporate ownership, regulatory actions, sanctions, and adverse media.
• Verify subject identities and corroborate findings across sources, distinguishing fact from unverified allegations with clear basis.
• Identify patterns, gaps, and leads; escalate material or unresolved issues to the Risk Mitigation Research Manager.
• Research corporate family trees and affiliated entities to support conflicts-of-interest review.
• Retrieve court documents, dockets, and related filings to support ongoing investigations.
• Synthesize and organize findings into concise, well-sourced reports for attorneys and clients.
• Document research methodology and sources for attribution and auditability.
• Draft work products for review by the Risk Mitigation Research Manager and attorneys.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff; communicate scope, status, and findings professionally.
• Support research workflows and testing/adoption of AI tools with supervision.
• Assist with current awareness alerts and other KM resources; stay aware of new databases.
