Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic QAPI & Risk Manager to lead a robust, data-driven Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. This key management position is pivotal in maintaining a quality infrastructure that enhances clinical processes, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters collaboration across departments.
The QAPI & Risk Manager is a critical leader, working with internal teams and external stakeholders to address healthcare challenges innovatively.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an effective QAPI program.
Chair the Quality Council and Performance Improvement Committee.
Operational Oversight:
Implement processes to enhance clinical care and patient outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure full participation in state and federal regulatory programs.
Develop and implement guidelines for compliance.
Team and Resource Management:
Supervise departmental staff and resources efficiently.
Facilitate professional development and training within the team.
Innovation and Collaboration:
Recommend and implement innovative practices to improve care quality.
Coordinate with medical staff and leadership to achieve organizational goals.
External Representation:
Represent PSMC in external committees to foster professional relationships.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) Certification.
Experience:
Minimum of less than 1 year of relevant experience required.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Expertise in quality management, risk management, and performance improvement.
