Job summary

Riverside Medical Center seeks a Risk Management Coordinator to oversee incident reporting, claims management, and policy administration. The role reports to the Risk Management department and acts as a liaison with physicians, legal counsel, and insurers to ensure regulatory compliance.

The coordinator will maintain the policy database, monitor HIPAA standards, and support audits and quality initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Access and Excel (MS Office).
• Medical training background preferred.
• Risk Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incident reporting, tracking, and follow-up.
• Manage claims, subpoenas, legal correspondence, and related documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between providers, legal counsel, and insurance carriers.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures.
• Monitor HIPAA compliance and maintain confidential records.
• Support audits, peer review activities, and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate ADA accommodation requests and processes.
• Prepare reports and maintain risk management databases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
