Job summary

The Texas Rangers are hiring a Risk Management Coordinator in Arlington, TX. Under supervision, you will provide risk management support, handle liability claims, maintain records, analyze data, and prepare reports for management.

This role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate risk assessment activities and safety projects. Occasional weekend/holiday work for game duty is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or industry-related area preferred.
• One to three years of related experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must be available to work occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings for game duty.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes liability claims and incident reports; collects documentation and submits to third party administrator.
• Reviews financial data and other information related to business operations.
• Gathers and compiles data related to risk from internal and external resources.
• Identifies potential risks by analyzing data, observing processes, and talking to staff.
• Drafts and delivers risk reports and recommendations outlining findings and suggesting solutions.
• Verifies and reviews forms and reports for completeness and conformance with regulations and procedures; applies policies.
• Plan, implement and coordinate accident prevention and safety projects to minimize injuries and losses.
• Develops and implements contingency plans to manage interruptions and emergencies.
• Maintains knowledge of laws and regulations related to the industry; explains impact on risk exposure.
• Assists with RMIS management for report generation and supports property and casualty programs.
