Job summary

Highmark Residential in Addison, TX is seeking a Risk and Claims Manager to oversee property, casualty, general liability, and workers' compensation claims, identify exposures, and implement policies to mitigate risk. You will administer the safety program, OSHA reporting, and coordinate with Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure compliance and timely resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• 5+ years of property/workers compensation claims management experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• ARM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proper reporting of all claims to insurance carriers and owners.
• Manage workers’ compensation program and OSHA incident reporting.
• Coordinate changes in carriers, procedures and facilities with properties.
• Oversee Safety program including monthly education and inspections.
• Maintain Safety Manual and required documents.
• Collaborate with Operations on safety program rollouts and loss-control initiatives.
• Maintain carrier and broker information for fee-managed properties.
• Assist adjusters with investigations across all insurance lines.
• Act as liaison between properties, adjusters, and insurers.
• Collaborate with Legal in defense of claims and in litigation response.
• Provide quarterly wage reporting for budgeting of workers’ comp premiums.
• Coordinate annual insurance applications and renewals.
• Review contracts and notify carriers of changes.
• Manage vendor insurance credentialing with Operations and Accounting.
• Ensure OSHA 300 reporting and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Mentor and develop Risk Management team.
• Monitor property inspection reporting via validation.
• Assist with special projects as directed by General Counsel.
