Job summary

Toot 'n Totum is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator to support the Risk Management and claims programs. The role focuses on workers’ compensation, occupational injuries, general liability, and related insurance activities.

You will assist the Risk Manager, manage communications, and help ensure prompt responses to inquiries while maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities include coordinating treatment plans, monitoring return-to-work, maintaining COIs, and supporting audits with vendors

Qualifications

• Understand terminology used in risk management and claims operations.
• Collect data, write business correspondence, and prepare reports.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy and ensure timely reporting of claims.
• Foster positive working relationships with teammates, guests, vendors and leaders.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to team members related to Workers Compensation and On-the-Job Injury (OJI) claims.
• Aid in compliance with risk management policies and procedures, property, occupational injury, auto, general liability, crime policies & umbrella for Toot'n Totum and its related companies.
• Coordinate treatment plans and facilitate injured worker return-to-work with HR, clinics and leadership; guide team members through the claims process and monitor work restrictions for a timely return to full duty.
• Support the Risk Manager to ensure a timely response to all team member inquiries by phone, email, or in-person.
• Work with third party carriers, adjustors and brokers to assist in claims management.
• Provide administrative support to the Risk Manager by drafting communications, managing reports, medical notes, and follow-up with adjusters.
