Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Workers' Compensation professional to manage policy execution and claims from report to resolution. The role requires collaboration with HR, plant operations, and outside adjusters to ensure compliant, timely outcomes.

Key duties include project participation to reduce costs, data analysis for trend identification, and training development to educate employees on Workers' Compensation processes and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience with High School degree in Workers' Compensation or related field.
• Involves lifting 10–25 pounds and walking/standing with moderate noise from equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Risk Management, or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• CHRP/SHRM/CPA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes Workers' Compensation policies and procedures in a timely manner with fairness and consistency.
• Supports handling workers’ compensation claims from initial report to resolution and investigates accidents.
• Coordinates returns-to-work and communicates with claim adjusters, HR, and operations.
• Participates in workers' compensation projects, data integration, and cost-reduction strategies.
• Monitors laws and maintains records to support defense of claims and program compliance.
• Prepares reports on program performance, trends, and metrics for management.
• Contributes to annual audits of workers' compensation programs and develops trainings.
