Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, industrial safety, fire protection, or related field
• Minimum five years of risk control or safety experience
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, NFPA standards

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site risk control surveys for sophisticated/current policyholders and niche markets
• Assesses exposure potential and existing controls; prepares risk control reports
• Provides operational consultations to policyholders and writes recommendations to reduce losses
• Delivers tailored risk control services and guidance to accounts and agents
• Acts as a technical resource within focused risk control areas across the team
• Works with underwriting, sales and claims to improve renewal decisions
• Markets risk control services via agency visits and presentations
• Travel required; maintains valid driver's license per company standards
