EMC Insurance in Minnesota offers a remote-friendly risk control specialist position with the option to work remotely for candidates in the Minneapolis–St Paul area. You will conduct on-site risk control surveys, analyze exposures, and provide tailored recommendations to insureds.

You will serve as a technical resource within niche focus areas, collaborating with Underwriting, Sales and Claims to support renewal decisions and client service, while delivering on-site training and loss-control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering or related field.
• At least five years of risk control or safety experience.
• CSP or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site risk control surveys for policyholders.
• Analyze exposure potential and prepare risk control reports.
• Provide consultative services to reduce hazards and exposure.
• Coordinate with underwriting, sales and claims to aid renewal decisions.
• Deliver advanced training and loss control surveys for accounts.
• Market risk control services through agency visits.
