EMC Insurance is seeking a senior Risk Control professional to conduct on-site surveys for sophisticated policyholders, assess exposure, and provide expert guidance to reduce insured losses. You will tailor services, prepare findings, and collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to support renewal decisions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in risk control, a safety/engineering degree, and strong communication skills. Travel and a valid driver's license required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of risk control or safety experience.
• Certifications such as CSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site risk control surveys for complex clients and niche markets.
• Analyses exposure potential, existing controls, and reports findings to insured and agents.
• Provides consultative guidance to reduce insured losses and develop written recommendations.
• Customizes risk-control services to address loss drivers and insured needs.
• Collaborates with underwriting, sales, and claims to aid renewal decisions.
• Delivers on-site training and advanced risk-control surveys for accounts.
