Occidental College seeks a Manager, Risk Management and Compliance to provide enterprise risk management, insurance oversight, and data privacy guidance across the Office of the General Counsel. The role partners with stakeholders to develop risk reduction strategies, ensure regulatory compliance for higher education, and support policy development, training, and contract governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in risk management or compliance.
• Experience developing policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience managing insurance programs and reviewing contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google tools, PDF editing, and basic web editing.

Responsabilités

• Lead risk management program across the College, including insurance procurement and claims.
• Develop and implement enterprise risk management strategies and training.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and ensure regulatory compliance.
