Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions seeks a Manager - Risk, Compliance & Governance to join the risk management COE within the GCX Project Management team for American Express. You will support issue management, controls, and governance, partnering with GCX Product, Technologies, Legal, Compliance and Operations.

The role emphasizes embedding a strong risk culture, enabling audits and internal control assessments, and adapting to evolving risk policies in a global, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading change initiatives across matrixed organizations.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners and influence stakeholders across diverse teams.
• Hands-on risk management experience including issue management processes, RCIMs and control management.
• Familiarity with agile environments and delivering in iterative cycles.
• Adaptability to dynamic business needs and obstacles.
• Ability to foster a positive, collaborative team culture with a light touch of humor.
• Travel experience in a related industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support the issue management process, remediation, implement controls, and manage RCIMs.
• Support new working practices and processes to meet changing needs of Amex risk management policies.
• Support and embed a strong culture of risk management, compliance, and governance across the business.
• Partner closely with multiple stakeholders such as GCX Product, Technologies, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
• Support various audits and internal control assessments.
