Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.
Position information:
The Risk & Patient Safety Program Manager is responsible for oversight and management of hospital-wide patient safety and risk initiatives including timely evaluation and resolution of incident/variance reports and maintain risk and patient safety management program. Additionally, the Risk & Patient Safety Program Manager conducts investigations into incidents when appropriate and supports the development and execution of corrective action plans. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating risks while enhancing the quality of care. It requires close collaboration with the clinical and operations teams to uncover and drive opportunities for continuous improvement. The Risk & Patient Safety Program Manager plays an important role in encouraging transparent, open communication about patient safety issues to enhance the culture of safety through continuous learning and quality improvement. This role will work closely with clinical, administrative, and leadership team members to monitor care processes, identify areas for improvement, and promote a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.
