Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or related program.
• CPA or CIA designation(s) required.
• Ten+ years of experience in risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls, with internal audit experience preferred.
• Five+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Proven track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice and of new business development.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction with a focus on client service, team development and financial success.
• Translate firm strategy into actionable objectives and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop sales plans and pursue growth opportunities within existing clients and new business.
• Coordinate resources to deliver high-quality services to clients.
• Ensure staff receive training, growth opportunities and timely feedback.
• Oversee profitability through resource utilization, pricing, and timely fee collection.
• Understand client businesses and risks, advising on process improvements and controls.
• Provide strategic business advice and assist in implementing new processes and controls.
• Assess and manage risk across operations, ERM and SOX compliance.
• Review processes against industry frameworks and communicate findings to clients.
• Lead business development and capture initiatives for risk advisory services.
• Produce executive summaries and engagement papers per internal audit standards.
• Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.
