Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or related program.
• CPA, CIA or equivalent designation(s) required.
• Ten (10)+ year(s) experience with risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls, with internal audit experience in the asset management setting.
• Five (5)+ year(s) of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Successful track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice, including building a team, a client base and managing revenue.
• Proven track record of new business development in the asset management industry in the PA, NJ, NY region.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, see the big picture.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and strategic direction with a focus on exceptional client service and growth.
• Translate firm vision into an actionable business plan and monitor progress.
• Lead in proposals and develop sales and marketing plans; pursue expansion of services and new clients.
• Coordinate firm resources to ensure the best products and services for clients.
• Ensure team members receive training, feedback and recognition for their efforts.
• Oversee profitability, utilization and timely collection of fees.
• Work with client executives to understand businesses and manage financial and operational risks, including IT risks.
• Develop deep knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries through direct interaction on engagements.
• Provide strategic business advice and assist in implementing new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Assess and optimize risk across operations, ERM and SOX compliance.
• Review processes against industry frameworks and communicate issues and recommendations.
• Drive new business development in asset management within PA, NJ, NY region.
• Produce executive summaries and final reports for client delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor and present to internal and external audiences.
