Job summary

Inframark LLC seeks an entry-level Water Operator in Training for our West Basin location. The role covers basic cleaning, painting, washing filters, cleaning basins, and minor maintenance of water plants, tanks, intakes and wells.

It is an entry-level position focused on operation and maintenance of water facilities. Responsibilities include operating pumps and valves, monitoring controls, conducting water treatment steps, collecting samples, recording data, and maintaining equipment and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational training in chemistry valued.
Water treatment operations experience and minimum certifications preferred.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Operate pumps, valves, turbines, and electric motors to regulate flow and pressure of water.
Monitor panel boards and adjust controls to regulate flow and distribution of water.
Backwash and clean systems at designated intervals; maintain equipment and grounds.
Collect samples and perform tests such as pH and chlorine residual; record results and adjust processes as instructed.
Document readings and enter data for records and reports; maintain logs and reports.
Maintain, clean and stock materials; housekeeping duties and general site upkeep.
Attend required safety classes and follow company safety policies.
