Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator's License within one year.
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater facilities and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operates valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment and related machinery.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of wells and unit processes.
• Documents treatment process performance and chemical usage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Keeps facilities clean, neat and secure.
• Provides customer service when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays and on-call.
