Job summary

Boyd Corp is seeking a Junior Thermal Research Engineer to support the design, modeling, and validation of advanced cooling systems for data centers, semiconductors, and aerospace applications.

You will work on thermal-fluid Modeling tools, data-driven methods, and experimental validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate design iterations and improve system performance.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of thermal management systems (liquid cooling, two-phase cooling).
• Develop thermal-fluid models for system-level performance prediction.
• Apply DOE and experiments for validation and model calibration.
• Create and maintain CAD models and engineering docs (SolidWorks, P&IDs).
• Collaborate with senior engineers to evaluate cooling technologies and optimize performance.
