Qualified candidates have a BS in engineering and 5+ years of experience in heat transfer, CAD/CFD, and prototype testing, with proximity to Lancaster PA and no relocation

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• No immigration sponsorship available.
• Locally within 75 miles of Lancaster PA; no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced thermal management products for customer applications.
• Apply heat transfer principles including conduction, convection, and two-phase technologies.
• Analyze and predict performance of thermal systems (heat pipes, vapor chambers, thermosiphons, refrigeration).
• Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
• Perform CFD analyses using FloTHERM, Icepak, or equivalent.
• Design and execute experiments to validate performance and optimize designs.
• Build, test, and evaluate prototypes in the lab.
• Collaborate with technicians to fabricate prototype hardware.
• Develop technical reports, datasheets, and customer presentations.
• Support sales with proposals and technical solutions.
• Assist with cost estimates and customer documentation.
• Present technical information to engineers and leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
