Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager to supervise customer service associates, front-end operations, and pharmacy activities, ensuring profitability and policy compliance. You will support the Store Manager, oversee recruitment, performance management, and discipline, and drive engagement to deliver company objectives.

You will analyze financial and operational data, manage scheduling, coordinate with partners, and lead safety, asset protection, and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record or equivalent Walgreens program.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training within 12 weeks.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept promotion into a Store Manager position, which could require relocation to a different store location.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and front-end operations to achieve store deliverables.
• Leads and manages store team, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
• Supports Store Manager with overall operation and decision-making.
• Monitors customer service metrics and coaches team to improve results.
• Oversees store cash management and bookkeeping activities.
• Manages inventory for front end and pharmacy, analyzes trends and trains staff.
• Ensures safety, compliance, and execution of company policies.
