Job summary

AlphaHire is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients, you’ll help keep projects organized, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction or related field.
• Experience with general contractor on commercial construction, renovation, tenant improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Civil Eng, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction through closeout on commercial construction projects.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, superintendents, and clients on scopes and schedules.
• Review drawings and specs to identify conflicts and gaps.
• Assist with project schedules and milestone tracking.
• Visit active jobsites to verify field conditions and coordinate with field teams.
• Support punch lists, inspections, and project closeout.
• Communicate delays or issues to the Project Manager.
• Take on increasing project responsibility as expertise grows.
