Job summary

ARCO Design/Build, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent (New Grad 2027) to gain hands-on field experience across the full lifecycle of a project. You will work with senior professionals committed to your growth in a top design/build firm.

You’ll support planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts, helping to deliver safe, on-time projects while advancing your construction knowledge and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in civil, architectural, construction mgmt or related field.
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning – review project details and assist with planning before work begins.
• Project scheduling – develop schedules with the Project Manager, staffing plans and equipment needs.
• Field leadership – oversee daily construction activities, ensure safety, schedule, budget, and specifications.
• Subcontractor coordination – manage subcontractor activities and communicate schedule updates across trades.
