ARCO Design/Build, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking an Assistant Superintendent (New Grad 2027) to join our field team. You will be involved from preconstruction through on-site execution, working with experienced professionals to learn the lifecycle of a project and deliver high-quality results.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on leadership, and growth in construction management, design/build processes, and field operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited construction-related undergraduate or graduate program.
• Interest in the design/build process, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds.
• Prior construction experience preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction Planning – review project details and assist with planning.
• Project Scheduling – develop schedules, sequencing, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Field Leadership – oversee daily activities ensuring safety, schedule, and budget.
• Subcontractor Coordination – manage activities and coordinate across trades.
