ARCO Design/Build in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for new graduates entering in 2027 to support field leadership and scheduling on design/build projects. You will work with seasoned professionals, gain exposure to preconstruction planning, subcontractor coordination, and project execution, while staying focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering program.
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning attendance and assist with project details.
• Develop construction schedules with the Project Manager.
• Oversee daily field activities ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and specs.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities across trades.
