Job summary

McClure Company is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager to support project managers in planning, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring schedules and costs are controlled. You will help prepare CPM schedules, coordinate subcontracts, and troubleshoot issues on job sites.

The role requires 1 internship and 1–3 years construction experience, with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 internship within a design or construction related industry required.
• 1 to 3 years of construction experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with planning, organization, and management of daily operations.
• Prepare CPM schedules on Microsoft Project.
• Assist in negotiating, writing and coordinating subcontracts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex project issues.
• Track costs, labor, and quantities; monitor safety program compliance.
• Interface with engineers of record to clarify design intent.
• Provide guidance to foremen to maintain productivity and schedule.
• Assist in ordering system components and materials.
• Review and process submittals and RFIs; oversee document control.
• Attend planning meetings and conduct short interval planning with teams.
