Job summary

Berglund Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Construction to contribute across project lifecycles from preconstruction to closeout. You will coordinate costs, schedules, document control, and quality, working with Project Managers, Superintendents, owners, Architects, and trade partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of construction experience preferred.
• Experience working for a General Contractor is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in all phases from award to final completion.
• Support field staff and maintain communication with the Superintendent.
• Prepare and attend project meetings; draft agendas and minutes.
• Maintain project logs (RFIs, Submittals, PCOs) and track progress.
• Distribute schedules and ensure subcontractors have current scopes of work.
