Job summary

Berglund Construction Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Construction to lead complex commercial projects across multiple markets, including commercial, healthcare, K-12, and higher education. You will drive strategic leadership to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest quality while nurturing strong client relationships.

You will report to the Vice President and work with leadership, assistant PMs, superintendents, and field personnel to ensure safe, profitable project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ of progressive project management experience in the construction industry.
• Proven track record delivering projects in at least three markets (Commercial, Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in project management software: Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.
• OSHA knowledge and commitment to job site safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from award through final completion.
• Lead and maintain project planning, budgeting, scheduling, cost controls, and resource allocation across multiple market sectors.
• Direct subcontractors, vendor selection, and field personnel.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
