Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and completion of commercial construction projects in New York. You will assist in budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout under the Project Management team.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication, organizational, and reading of drawings/schedules are essential;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 2–5 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
• Strong computer skills and budgeting knowledge.
• Background in construction trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Role model professionally for Interns, Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, and new APMs.
• Own the RFI and submittal processes.
• Assist in creating accurate and timely budgets and bids.
• Develop knowledge of project cost controls and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and support OAC meetings.
• Coordinate with superintendents and project managers, including site visits to monitor progress.
• Distribute drawings, submittals, schedules to subs and site team to maintain schedule.
• Support closeout package preparation and project systems usage.
