Job summary

Gilbane Building Co is seeking a Project Manager I to support the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager II on a construction project. This role will be on the job site daily and lead a small project when needed, handling safety plans, project controls, and quality plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will collaborate with a team to monitor schedule and finances, develop risk mitigation, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment while aligning with Gilbane’s core

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 4-7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong technical and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation and administration of the project safety plan.
• Assists in project controls and procedures, and manages established risk mitigation processes.
• Creates and follows through on potential change items and participates in verification of project financial forecast.
• Creates and manages a project-specific quality plan aligned with the owner contract and contract documents and assists with execution.
• Creates and manages a closeout plan in alignment with the contract documents and assist with execution.
