Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Project Manager II to serve as the on-site Gilbane manager for a medium-sized construction project. You will direct the project’s overall direction, completion, and financial outcome, and you’ll be on the job site every day working with the project team.

The role emphasizes coaching and leading with an inclusive mindset, driving safety, cost control, schedule updates, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver value on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of project management experience on civil/structural/architectural projects.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development of project safety plan and provides jobsite leadership.
• Establishes and monitors change management and project financial forecast.
• Creates and manages a project-specific quality plan aligned with contract documents.
• Develops CPM schedule and prepares monthly schedule updates.
• Manages workload and performance of direct reports to align with company standards.
