Starting salary is $63,500 with stipends based on certifications and campus leadership, plus performance-based compensation. Benefits include comprehensive plans and potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year educational institution (required)
• Experience: Experience in a Special Education classroom with significant disabilities (preferred)
• Licenses: Valid Texas state certification in Special Education (required); core content certifications (required)

Responsibilities

• Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
• Develop IEPs for a caseload and update progress
• Implement IEPs and track student progress
• Coordinate related services for students on caseload
• Attend weekly meetings and parent/teacher conferences
• Utilize state standards and IDEA curricula to reach ambitious goals
• Submit weekly lesson plans for feedback
• Maintain gradebook and communicate progress weekly
• Host tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays
• Foster a productive, respectful classroom culture
