Job summary

Steigerwaldt Land Services, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a limited-term, full-time Right-of-Way Technician for Tomahawk or Hayward locations this Summer 2027. This entry‑level role supports ROW acquisition, land leasing, permitting, and construction activities across energy projects.

You will assist with ownership research, secure rights, organize documents, and liaise with landowners under supervision. Travel up to 50% and field/office work are required.

Qualifications

• Must be working toward a 2- or 4-year degree in real estate, land use planning, business or related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Experience with GPS data collection and ESRI GIS software.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or more.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ownership research, land sales, and title research.
• Assist with negotiating and securing fee titles, easements, leases, licenses, permits, and other permissions.
• Support document organization and filing.
• Understand land-related contracts for construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities.
• Gain experience in survey permission research, title research, and property valuation.
