Steigerwaldt Land Services, Inc. is seeking a Right of Way Agent in Wisconsin to support land acquisition, permitting, and related real estate tasks for energy, infrastructure, and natural resource projects.

This entry-to-mid level role emphasizes building relationships with landowners and coordinating with project stakeholders. You will work in a remote-friendly hybrid environment, travel up to 50% across Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota, with primary focus on Wisconsin.

Formación

• Entry to mid-level role with 1–3 years of experience in reviewing title work, landowner acquisition, permitting, and other real-estate tasks.
• Understanding local, state, and federal requirements for voluntary and eminent domain land acquisitions and related permitting; experience with energy projects preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate who shows the needed skills.

Responsabilidades

• Establish trust and long-term positive relationships with landowners and clients.
• Make independent decisions with landowners and project stakeholders throughout projects.
• Coordinate meetings with landowners and stakeholders on-site or at agreed locations.
• Negotiate and secure fee titles, easements, leases, licenses, permits and ordinances.
• Estimate potential damage areas before construction.
• Perform land sales research.
• Explain project scope, timelines, contracts, and financial terms to landowners.
• Provide regular status reports to project managers on land acquisition and permitting tasks.
• Prepare all necessary agreement documents and permitting forms for projects.
• Represent the company at public meetings before municipalities and other agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
