Job summary

ProSource is seeking an Acquisition Agent II to work in Mendota Heights, MN. You will engage with landowners and businesses to acquire rights to easements for assigned projects, operating as a mid-level contributor within ProSource’s Acquisition Career Framework.

You will oversee negotiations, review plans, and coordinate with clients while managing multiple parcels independently. The role requires travel to field sites and a focus on detail and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent; degree preferred in position related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in land acquisition, title searches, real estate law, appraisal field or other related fields.
• Knowledge of real estate law and property transactions.
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parcels and deadlines independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Responsibilities

• Works independently to acquire rights in real property full & partial takings, permanent easements, and long-term leases.
• Identify potential sites and establish contact with landowners.
• Study, evaluate, and explain project plans and profile drawings and property plats.
• Prepare requests for title abstracts to determine the parties of interest.
• Request, review, and evaluate property appraisals or comparable sales reports.
• Negotiate property leases and purchases with property owners
• Analyze governing body zoning and building codes and complete permit applications.
• Review signed agreements prepared for client approval.
• Manages assigned parcels independently and negotiates within defined authority.
• Escalates complex issues appropriately.
