Job summary

AK Industrial Contractors, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Rigging Supervisor / Foreman to lead field crews in safe, efficient heavy equipment moves, installations, and plant relocations.

You will coordinate lifting equipment, read lift plans, enforce OSHA standards, and work closely with project managers, crane operators, and clients to ensure on-time, within-budget execution.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years' experience in industrial rigging, machinery moving, or heavy equipment installation.
• Proven experience supervising or leading rigging crews.
• Knowledge of crane operations, rigging hardware and lifting techniques.
• Ability to read basic drawings, lift plans, and job instructions.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to rigging and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in rigging, lifting, and machinery moves following project plans.
• Execute lift plans and rigging procedures to specification.
• Coordinate daily activities with project management and clients.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct daily safety meetings.
• Train and mentor riggers and apprentices.
• Inspect rigging equipment and lifting devices for proper use.
• Interface with crane operators, subcontractors, and site personnel.
