Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging in the United States seeks a Rigging Foreman to lead field crews responsible for heavy lift, rigging, machinery moving, and specialized transportation projects from planning through completion.

You will direct daily field operations, manage manpower and equipment, ensure safety and quality, and communicate with Project Managers, customers, and stakeholders in the field; a proven leader with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of rigging, machinery moving, crane operations, construction, or related heavy industrial work.
• Previous leadership, crew lead, superintendent, or foreman experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews supporting heavy lift, rigging, machinery moving, and specialized transportation projects.
• Direct daily field operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and quality execution.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Work closely with Project Managers to identify and resolve operational challenges that impact productivity or scheduling.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all lifting, rigging, gantry, jacking, and machinery moving equipment is operating safely and effectively.
• Communicate directly with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders in the field.
