Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Rigger to set up, assemble, or disassemble job-specific rigging. You will select gear based on load size and movement area to safely secure machinery for relocation or transportation.

Responsibilities include inspecting rigging materials, aligning and anchoring equipment, and handling pulleys, winches, and cables. A CDL and DOT medical card may be required for some roles, and safety PPE is mandatory.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to take direction and closely follow instruction.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals as required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL and/or endorsements may be required for certain positions.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials to ensure safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Use hand and/or power tools to attach loads to rigging and prepare for moving.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals as required.
• Dismantle, inspect, clean, organize and store rigging equipment after use.
