Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a seasoned Rigger/Lead Rigger/Foreman in Charlotte, NC for full-time field operations. You will set up, assemble, and disassemble rigging to safely relocate machinery and equipment, supervise crew, and ensure safety protocols are followed on site.

Responsibilities include inspecting rigging, signaling for hoists, and coordinating loads while maintaining high productivity in a non-temperature-controlled environment. CDL may be required for certain tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals.
• Knowledge of hand/flag signals and safe rigging practices.
• Experience supervising or mentoring team members in safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Attach loads to rigging using appropriate gear and ensure secure movement.
• Coordinate signaling with workers during hoisting and moving operations.
• Dismantle, inspect, and store rigging equipment after use.
• Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment when required.
