Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking Certified Riggers for a 3-month project in the Rapid City, SD area. Responsibilities include inspecting rigging equipment, attaching rigging gear, and moving loads safely using hoists and related equipment. Must read blueprints and follow safety programs, with NCCER or NCCCO certification required.

Position runs 5-10s with 8-hour days, Monday through Saturday. Day shift pay $43/hour, night shift $45/hour, plus per diem of $153.57/day for working all scheduled days.

Qualifications

• Must have NCCER and/or NCCCO certification.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret safety programs.
• Experience at heavy industrial sites preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Pass all pre-employment screens.
• Wear PPE and have tools for the job.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rigging equipment for wear, damage, or deterioration.
• Attach slings, chokers, spreader bars, etc. for moving materials safely.
• Attach rigging and manually move materials, equipment, parts, or assemblies using hoists, chain falls, snatch blocks, or come alongs.
• Be able to read and interpret proper hand signals.

Trillium Construction is now seeking Certified Riggers in the Rapid City, SD area!

Trillium Construction is looking for Certified Riggers for the next 3 months working at a new Power Plant Facility.

It’s a big natural gas separator and storage facility. Inspect all rigging equipment prior to use for wear, damage, or deterioration. Attach slings, chokers, spreader bars, etc. for material to be moved around safely. Attach rigging and manually move materials, equipment, parts, or assemblies into position using hoists, chain falls, snatch blocks, or come alongs. Be able to use and interpret proper hand signals.

Can start ASAP! Will work 5-10’s and an 8-hour day, Monday - Saturday. Pay is $43/hour on day shift for certified riggers, $45/hour if you would like to work night shift, and per diem is $153.57/day all 7 days, should you work all scheduled working days.

• Must have either NCCER and/or NCCCO certification to qualify!
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and all safety programs.
• Ability to work with precise standards and accuracy in a safe manner.
• Have knowledge of manufactures load charts and how to interpret.
• Must have experience in industrial work
• Experience at heavy industrial sites preferred
