Job summary

Trillium Construction in Rapid City, SD is recruiting Journeyman Pipefitters for a 3‑month project at a new power plant facility. Preference given to NCCER/NCCCO trained candidates. You will assemble and install a wide range of piping and fittings, test systems for leaks, and coordinate with welders on site.

You must be able to operate threading machines and bend pipe by hand or with on‑site benders. Per diem of $153.57/day applies for all scheduled days, with a 5‑10s, 8‑hour days, Monday

Qualifications

• NCCER and NCCCO training preferred.
• Experience in industrial environments or heavy industry.
• Capable of assembling and installing varied pipe materials and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install metal and non-metal piping and fittings.
• Join pipes with threaded, caulked, wiped, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints.
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure safe operation on site.

Trillium Construction is now seeking Journeyman Pipefitters in the Rapid City, SD area!

Trillium Construction is looking for Journeyman Pipefitters for the next 3 months working at a new Power Plant Facility.

It’s a big natural gas separator and storage facility. Would prefer to have individuals with NCCER or NCCCO training. Must be able to assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipe and pipe fittings, including brass, stainless, carbon, copper, glass, and plastic. Join pipe by means of threaded, caulked, wiped, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints. Will be installing and maintaining refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls and piping. Will be asked to test piping systems for leaks. Must be able to use threading machine and bend pipe by hand or with benders on site. Must be able to work well with team and welders in efficient and safe manner.

Can start ASAP! Will work 5-10's and an 8-hour day, Monday - Saturday. Pay is $40/hour for non-certified fitters and $42/hour for certified Pipefitters, and per diem is $153.57/day all 7 days, should you work all scheduled working days.
