Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking Ironworkers for a 3-month project at a new power plant facility in the Rapid City, SD area.

You will raise, place, and connect girders and other structural steel members, fasten with hoisting equipment, and read blueprints. Shift options include day ($35/hour) and night ($37/hour) with a daily per diem of $153.57. Must pass pre-employment screens and have industrial experience.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and safety programs.
• Experience in heavy industrial sites preferred.
• Ability to work with precise standards and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Raise, place, and connect girders, columns and steel members to form the structure.
• Fasten steel structures using hoisting equipment, chains, cables, and ropes.
• Follow hand signals and read blueprints to align components.
• May cut or weld structures temporarily until permanent welding.
• Operate on a 5-10s schedule, up to 8 hours per shift, Mon-Sat.

Trillium Construction is now seeking Ironworkers in the Rapid City, SD area!

Trillium Construction is looking for Ironworkers for the next 3 months working at a new Power Plant Facility.

It's a big natural gas separator and storage facility. Will be responsible for raising, placing, and connecting girders, columns, and other structural - steel members to form completed structure or framework. Fasten steel structures using hoisting equipment or chains, cables, and ropes. Can start ASAP! Will work 5-10's and an 8-hour day, Monday - Saturday. Pay is $35hour on day shift, $37/hour if you would like to work night shift, and per diem is $153.57/day all 7 days, should you work all scheduled working days.

• -Must be able to use all tools to fasten and force steel members into place and align them properly.
• -May be asked to cut and/or weld structures into place temporarily until they are permanently welded into place.
• -Be able to use and interpret proper hand signals.
• -Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and all safety programs.
• -Ability to work with precise standards and accuracy in a safe manner.
• -Must have experience in industrial work
• -NCCER and/or NCCCO certification is preferred
• -Experience at heavy industrial sites preferred
• -Reliable transportation to and from work
• -Pass all pre-employment screens
• -Wear all PPE and have tools for the job
