Job summary

Munters is seeking a Rigger in Amesbury, MA to move equipment, verify drawings, and prep units for shipment. You will operate a crane and forklift, assist with crating and loading onto trucks, and maintain clean, safe work areas. The role requires rigging and wrapping experience and the ability to read blueprints and measure accurately.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Must have some rigging, crating, and wrapping experience.
• Must have experience loading large equipment onto trucks.
• Woodworking experience (building crates or skids).
• Experience operating a forklift and a crane.
• Strong measuring skills to determine correct heights.

Responsibilities

• Reviews blueprints and communicates with Supervisors, Team Leads, Quality, and Engineering.
• Verifies height dimensions of units and moves equipment onto trucks.
• Operates a crane and forklift for loading and rigging.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and participates in meetings.
• Supports packaging, crating, and shipment preparation activities.

Analyzes the drawings from Engineering and verifies the correct height dimensions and weight for shipment. Operates a crane and forklift when loading units onto trucks.**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Reviews blueprints* Communicates with Supervisors, Team Leads, Quality, and Engineering* Verifies height dimensions of units* Responsible for the rigging, wrapping, crating, and movement of the units onto the trucks for shipment* Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
